Cindy Crabb event & NEW ZINES!

If you missed it the Cindy Crabb event is Guelph was super great! It was well attended, even some folks came down from Hamilton! Whoot Whoot. Everything went smoothly. First Adriana Blake talked about her online and small press comic projects, find her stuff here: littleteacup.net
Then Maranda Elizabeth read a few heartfelt pages from her latest installment of Telegram ma'am. Then Cindy read a few of her favotires from her new book. Cindy, Maranda, and Adriana all interacted with the audience answering questions and telling stories about their creations.

so Cindy donated a load of zines to the zine library!

Summer

With this postie lock out my excitement about acquiring new zines has become non existent. I don't even feel like working on projects, because i can't send them out when i'm done. What makes me feel even worse is that the posties are about to be legislated back to work. and that fucking sucks. Learn more about it, before you start hating on the unions just because your father does. visit cupw.ca

Some good news! GRCGED is getting new computers which means that soon the archive will be cataloged which means titles can be taken out! wooot woot! Sometime in Sept you will be able to take zines out of the library! geeze its almost been a year.
